Midtown Nights No.1 - A New York Moment

Dedicated to anyone who might be in a "New York State of Mind"...

The photo was taken on a very summery - and lively - Sunday night, September 30 in 2018,
at Penn Plaza, 7th Avenue and W 33rd Street. This is its first appearance.

A Billy Joel concert at Madison Square Garden had concluded a bit earlier and,
while not obvious in this particular photo, the area was alive and jumping. (*)

Anyhow, I do like the olfactory (and other) memories the photo evokes as I re-view it tonight
(with some Billy Joel playing in the background - His 72nd birthday fell earlier this week).

And, oh yes, there WOULD be a story of what brought me to this particular intersection, and it had more to
do with "The Case of the Forgotten Sneakers" (Am I getting old?) than with Billy Joel's concert ;-)
