Merced River Dogwood - Yosemite Valley
After enduring a long day of hiking through tall brush along the Merced River in Yosemite Vally, I found this glorious dogwood branch hanging over the water's edge. Working quickly and hoping for the wind to finally die-down, I made a one second exposure using my Canon EOS 1D and a 28-70 F2.8 lens. The contrast between the river's subtle shades of green, the beautiful dogwood branch and the motion of the water came together to create a simple, but eloquent image.
