Meditation beside Buddhas face
The man falls in deep meditation in front of Buddha while just a few meters beside him people relax on a mat and eating their lunch.
In Theravada Buddhism, one common meditative practice (among many) is focusing on the breath and learning to observe passing thoughts and feelings with detachment.

Erstaunlich wie unterschiedlich die Darstellungen Buddhas in Indien, Thailand, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Laos und vor allem China sind. Mir persönlich gefällt am besten der klassische Sukothai-Stil.LG, Herbert
