It's a very nice image, Selina, but I think something is missing.
Perhaps if you added a prop, such as a book, entitled
"How To Make Friends" and placed it in her hands, or by her side, it would add more impact to the image, and make it more powerful.
Also, try letting the model glance down towards the floor, to bring out more of a sense of being lonely.
Try experimenting with a few different props, and poses, and facial expressions.
