Impressive, immersive, wild,... !
What to improve ? Frankly, I do not see that much..., maybe the depth of field that it is somehow too shallow

In order to make this an even more "catchy" portrait i would have cropped this a little more. There is too much in de surrounding, under the head and in the backround, which is distracting the attention from the very strong lionesses head.

  Thank you for the advice, will try to re-crop-it. What is your advice about the background; dark ore white? Some pros prefers darker background, some other advice to clear the background.

  I think lighter or darker is not so much the question, just by cropping it a little more, leaving the lioness' head a little more to the right so that the brush in the lower right corner drops out would do the trick.
