Lakes from the Svinafellsjökull glacier
Just a few steps from the parking lot to the glacier lake of Svinafellsjökull. In contrast to the lake of Skaftafellsjökull, whose water was rather muddy gray, the Svinafellsjökull lake shines in the color of a caffè latte. But given the water temperature, it must be ice coffee. During our visit, the lake was completely calm, no waves, no water ripples could be seen.
