Sieht aus wie ein platter Maikäfer, ist aber nur bis 11mm groß.
Wenn im Spätsommer trockene Stellen im Rasen sind, kann es sein, dass die Larven dieses Käfers ihren Appetit an den Wurzeln gestillt haben.
