Thanks, Harald, for the comments. I agree, Kinkakuji looks best in the evening light (or in winter in snow). This photo was taken 10 minutes before closing. Not only did we have great light, but we were the only ones there. We didn't have to compete for space with hundreds of other tourists!Hamai 04/11/2005 11:31
