Inside the nomads tent
We enjoyed a very warm, friendly and cozy atmosphere inside the pilgrims rest tent. Drinking butter tea, Chhaang, a Nepalese/Tibetan alcoholic beverage relative of the more universally known beer or Raksi, a stronger traditional distilled alcoholic beverage in Tibet.
A short while after my bones seemed to be paralyzed, get up again was quite a turtur, but we had to fix our own tents for the oncoming night.
My picture is taken in May 2004 with a NIKON CoolPix 5000.

Unglaublich, wie manche wohnen und immer wieder alles zusammen packen müssen, um an anderer Stelle wieder alles aufzubauen.Aber dass hier Gastfreundschaft groß geschrieben wird, kann ich mir gut vorstellen.
