Index- Donegal greeting

Index- the finger.
Scientists argue, about its length.
More importantly in my series, than the appearance, is its use. It greets, points out, gives out, pokes, picks, presses, rises for attention, it indicates and shushes, it also pulls the trigger.
In Donegal, the Index finger is raised as a greeting to another driver.
Moving here, this stood out to me and thus my index finger series started.
(The better you get to know them, the more fingers may be used)
