Sehr schöne Ansicht vom altstädtischen Markt. Wundervoll mit den bunten, wieder aufgebauten Häusern! Ich kenne diese Ansicht ja leider nur mit Schnee. Mit den Sonnenschirmen ist aber auch nicht schlecht... ,-))LG aus Aachen, Markus 8-))

Warsaw now is a little bit different than 11 years before. Only colours of buildings and roofs still the same but the big old yard now looking much expensive and rich. Actually I dont think that restaurants disturb of old athmosphere. Without them stare miasto will not survive in many ways of modern life.Thanks for great picture. :))

Schöner wäre natürlich der Platz ohne Ausschank (für uns Fotografen), aber für eine Stadt soll es doch so sein,dass was los istSchön gesehen

Ich finde es gibt schlimmere "Verschandelungen" als Biergärten auf so einem Platz, im Gegenteil sie beleben so eine Platz eher (nicht nur auf dem Foto) was meistens auch dem Geschäften usw. rundherum zu gute kommt und somit am Ende der Erhaltung von so einem Platz. Das sich bei solch einem Kreislauf 99,x% der Einnahmen verflüchtigen muss man wohl zu den von dir bereits angedeuteten "nicht Positiven" Seiten zählen...Gruß Oliver

@alle, danke für Eure Anmerkungen. Ich persönlich war sehr positiv von den Entwicklungen in Warschau und in Polen beeindruckt. Meine ersten Eindrücke vor 20 Jahren und die letzten vor etwa 10 Jahren waren noch ganz anders. Dass die Marktwirtschaft aber nicht immer positive Seiten hat, wissen wir sicher alle.@thanks everyone for your comments. It's interesting that the two threads (German and English) developed differently. In German there was a discussion as to whether or not the modern restaurants disturb the atmosphere of the old square.
I agree with you all that the buildings have been beautifully restored. I was very impressed with the changes in Warsaw and Poland comparing my first visit 20 years ago, my last trip about 10 years ago and now. Of course, there are some down sides to "capitalism" too.

Die historischen Gebäude sind ein sehr schöner Anblick.Die fröhliche Biergartenatmosphäre wird höchstens durch die graue Wolke etwas getrübt.

Biergärten finden wir klasse und hier beleben sie toll den Platz. Die Häuserreihen sind trotzdem noch gut zu sehen.Gruß Jutta und Jürgen.
