Jacmel es una pintoresca ciudad de Haiti a 2 horas de Puerto Príncipe. Se caracteriza por tener casas coloridas de la época colonial del siglo XIX que fueron habitadas por comerciantes de café, actualmente muchas de ellas dañadas después del terremoto. Jacmel es uno de los lugares relativamente seguros de Haiti. La conocen como la Nueva Orleans de Haiti.
Jacmel is a picturesque town in Haiti, located 2 hours away from Port-au-Prince. The city has colourful houses from 19th century, which were inhabited by coffee merchants, unfortunately many of them devastated by the big earthquake. Jacmel is one of the relatively safest places in Haiti. It is known by the New Orleans from Haiti.
