Das Bild gefällt mir. Wie das jetzt mit dem Kreuzblick aussieht weiß ich leider nicht - kann so leider nicht gucken ...
Hast Du das Motiv auch mal mit einem Graufilter fotografiert?

You are right with the water movement, but i hoped to get some part of the rivers ground visible through the water, what worked out in the foregound.

Maybe you can use the lowest time exposure setting of your camera (with a tripod ...) to minimize the different water movement from the left shot to the right.
