There's a wonderful clarity and "wholeness" in this photo. Most would probably wait for cowboys holding on for dear life, rodeo clowns, tight shots of horses. All entirely worthwhile, but here you give us the visual equivalent of a prelude or overture to the "music" that's to come, hinting vividly at themes. I can't say that I follow rodeos, but this hint of the "backstage" prep really works really nicely for me. I love also the rich greens and the added attraction of the water with its clean reflections.Ein Zehn-Gallonen Hut ab!
