Fuerteventura #15

Just spending time now with post editing and as the "normal" shot looks too dull, I helped a bit…..Is the look too artificial? Nowadays the borderline between realistic and artificial seems to be shifted away by photoshop. The remaining question is (for me) am I stepping across?

I'm siding with Adele in this one particular issue, don't have Photoshop neither, don't have that kind of time..:) one thing I know for sure you way of thinking is too logic..get loose, do what your heart commands, don't pay much atention of what your brain tells you..it just analyzes everything, just remember that the most important thinkers and philosophers were mavericks at their time..

yes, in a way you overstepped the bounds of realism, i would say! but the "artificiality" and its aesthetic make sense to me because it shakes us viewers free from the stupor of our automized reception, intensifying the emotional impact of the image! my very first thought here, for example, was: "wow, VERY RED! almost aggressively so! it makes me feel like a bull being driven through a narrow alley: the longer he is stampeding, the more desperate and furious he becomes!" greetings, sabine.

I find your results of editing here very striking and attractive ... if the start is a well composed and lit image, not much can go wrong I think - the bones of the original remain ... and your image here is a great example.
I don't have PhotoShop so can't get tempted to experiment - I know I would spend much time on post production :-))).
