Faces of Storm
Okay so I just got Photoshop and was brave enough to try this. I need to learn a bit about shades, but I think its pretty ok for a first try with no formal training..stay tunned I have purchased some books.

Pretty good for a first try? This is a very clever picture!With Photoshop you do need some books. I work with Photoshop Elements 6, which is a small version, but for me its complex enough.
