Erdhörnchen
Während einer Wanderung im Yellowstone Nationalpark haben wir diesen kleinen Ground Squirrel entdeckt. Er saß vor seiner Erdhöhle und betrachtete uns. Ein echtes Erlebnis.

@ Josef Schließmann.Lieber Josef, hier eine kurze Erläuterung aus Wikipedia zum Erdhörnchen:
"Präriehunde (Cynomys) sind eine nordamerikanische Gattung der Erdhörnchen. Sie sind verwandt mit den Murmeltieren und den Zieseln."
Wir hatten, denke ich, beide recht.
