A very special place. The boatnames tell the story of Cochin's history. The vegetation on the water adds to the special effect.

wow, they look almost hostile – threatening! an unconquerable defensive bulwark of colorful hulls ready to defend whatever is lying behind them in the jungle against possible intruders attacking them from the river – i'm thinking giant swamp snakes… ; ) all right, all right, i know anacondas are at home in south american jungles, but then again: you never know! one of the boats is called santa cruz… ; )) sorry for being silly again! love the composition here, with the boats dividing the shot into two halves: water down below, jungle up above! hugs, sabine.
