Die evangelische Stadtkirche wurde im 19. Jh. erbaut und ist ist eine Hallenkirche.
Erbaut wurde sie nach Entwürfen des Bauinspektors Carl Christian Nieffer (1787–1871), eines Schülers des Stuttgarter Hofbaumeisters Nikolaus Friedrich von Thouret.
