Chinese Shrine in Saphan Mai
The original name of Saphan Mai was Saphan Sukoranakhaseni. On the way to the fresh market we pass the Chinese Shirne which is dedicated to the founder of the market place.
The Shrine, formally the San Thao Maha Phrom; shrine of Lord Maha Brahma, is a shrine, which houses a statue of Phra Phrom, the Thai representation of Brahma, the Hindu god of creation.
