Café Majestic, Porto
Belle Époque café established 1921 under the name Elite. As it was and still is a glamorous and reference for Portuguese culture, received the name Majestic.
In J.K. Rowling's biography is stated that while living in Porto she spent much of her time at Majestic working on her first book, " Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone ".
Among distinguished visitors/customers is of course mrs. Rowling presenting "H.P. and Deathly Hallows". Many other show business or politicians, including Chief of States visiting Portugal had a break at Majestic Café. Me too!!!
