Branderburg Gate
I have not decided whether I like this, and genuinely request comments and/or suggestions on how to do it better. It was a cloudy day, but the sun was partly visible through the clouds just behind the statue. I increased contrast, which enlarged the area registering as sun. Then I added yellow to the sun, and desaturated the rest of the image. Finally I added sepia to areas that were not sun. Pentax *ist D at ISO 200; Pentax DA 16-45 f4 at 45 mm; 1/500 @ f22.
