Bodie Island Lighthouse
Just last March Alice Marie and I were in our favorite part of our home state of North Carolina, after the Appalachians of course. We went to see the Bodie Island Lighthouse on our first full day there. The lighthouse name is pronounced Body. It is from the old English and it refers to the number of bodies that washed up there. After all this be Blackbeard's territory matey, ARGH.

Very good clarity in this shot. Just a pity that the crop is so tide, that the lighthouse isn`t complete in focus. :-))Greetings, Cees
