In europe we sacrifice a bottle of sparkling wine before a boat has its first ride, in Uganda it is -of course- a chicken and its blood...
Last weekend we finally let our new boat into water and -of course- we baptised traditionally...

Starkes Bild!Klasse warst Du so nahe dran.
Menschen machen schon komische Sachen, weshalb soll es dem Boot Glück bringen wenn ein Huhn geopfert wird... Naja, ich vertrau darauf dass das Hühnchen anschliessend gefuttert wurde, dann hat es doch zumindest einem erkennbaren Zweck sein Leben gelassen.
