Black Hmong Khu
Sapa Vietnam. Minority girl who took me to her home, dressed me in their traditional clothes, took me out to see the beauty of their life and nature. i stayed with her for three days, slept in the same bed, ate the same food and shared my culture with her's. She was the most wonderful and memorable person from my travels. Thank you.

Very good b&w portrait.Excellent contrast.
You captured the image just at the right moment, as it shows the girl in deep thought.
I would have to agree with Dirk, that the photo is cropped too tight on the left hand side.
She's thinking about something, or someone, give her the added space to think....;-)
Were these photos taken with a digital camera ? or one that uses film ?

i made an comparable experience with indians in mexico ... a very intensive feeling, isn't it?the photo as it is is cut too narrow on the left side in my opinion, because there is no "space to look into" for her.
maybe a landscape format would have worked better here.
