Hallo Micha,
ich hatte lange probiert wie stark der Effekt sein darf. Noch stärker - und man hätte die Füße nicht mehr erkannt.
Richtig, oben wird der Strahl flach. Das Beam-Objekt wird in seine Atome zerlegt und dann ganz flach zwischen den Dimensionen verschickt.
Spaß beiseite; der "Strahl" ist tatsächlich nur eine teiltransparente, flache "Folie", die über das Bild kopiert wurde. Die Dreidimensionalität am Fuß-Ende wird uns vom Gehirn vorgegaukelt. Es sollte auch nur so wie die Beleuchtung mit einem Spot wirken, nicht wie ein "Glasblock".

Die Idee finde ich klasse. Der Effekt hätte gern noch etwas stärker sein dürfen (späterer Beamzeitpunkt).
Aber der Strahl fängt unten dreidimensional an und endet oben jedoch flach.

What is this fuzzy light on the astronaut's suit ? A creation of yours (made in some photoshop software or natural ?). It look like if the astronaut's suit is inside a transparent box but there's no apparent line infront of the box at right from the ground to the ceilling area. If this box is a creation of yours, a thin grey line in this area would have gave a complete imitation of a box made of glass with some dust inside. But as one of the astronaut's arms is outside of the box maybe a line was not a so good idea after all and I am for sure in the mental process to understand that this box is, in fact, not true. ;-)

The 3D background of this picture (The space in 3D) come from some pictures I took here in the stereo section of the fotocommunity but I don't remember who was the sender (Maybe the sender is going to recongnize himself, who knows ?) .
