A Subway Serenade...
…or Serenity amidst the hustle-bustle.
It’s a Sunday afternoon in December…Holiday Season in full swing…and, while this passageway in Grand Central Terminal leading to the 42nd Street Shuttle trains to Times Square would normally be full of hustle and bustle, as passengers rush toward the Shuttle tracks, or from those tracks into the Main Concourse of GCT, this particular
moment wasn’t, thus providing a few moments of calm for this young violinist to serenade passersby.
Some even stopped for a spell to listen.
And, yes, the photographer did leave a bill in his violin case...
