A Jewel in the Canadian Rockies
The distinctive aquamarine color of the glacial waters of Moraine Lake appears jewel-like
through a break in the trees on the steep trail leading from the lake to Larch Valley.
Across the Valley of the Ten Peaks, the snow covered Mount Fay Glacier
looms impressive on this afternoon in Canada’s Banff Rockies in September, 1999.
