I wouldn't call my self an amateur photographer. I'm just a guy who carries a digital camera with him sometimes. Some days you just get lucky and find something that just looks perfect. Even when you've walk by that same place everyday.
I'm fortunate to live in a small town on the west coast of Michigan. We have one of the best state parks in the country here. I get a lot of my stuff from walking around there.
