New to here
Hi. My name is Chuck and I'm new to this site. I've been messing with digital photography for a few years now. I'm am not a pro, but want to learn. I've studied art, composition, color theory, etc., for many years. Photography to me seems like instant art. I like doing landscape, macro, and digital art kind of stuff. I've been using Photoshop since before they had layers!!! Haven't had time to post pics yet. Just want to say hi. There seems to be many talented photographers here, so if I may ask a question: I just got an Olympus E-300 Digital slr. Has anybody had any experience with this camera and if so, what was your impression? Thanks.

Welcome !! Only thing i heard about the Olympus is the fact that it's quite prone to noise. On the other hand the Olympus glass has a great reputation !!

welcome chuck. i'm also new here and am picking up loads of new info. i use the olympus e1 and think that the lenses are brilliant. also there's way less parallax than canon or nikon. enjoy your stay
