How about a contest to see who can get the most detailed Macro shot? It could be any subject matter, or it could be a specific subject like flowers, candy, whatever.

I'm out, as I won't have a camera for a while, but I'd like to see more Macro stuff.

When I was in High School I sat next to a guy in Art Class. He had a Photography Class afterwords, and would bring his work with him to Art Class. For his final project, he had to think of a Motiff, and produce numerous photos of his subject.

He chose Road Kill.

Anyone want to have THAT as a topic for competition? Ha ha.

Dark, sinister, creepy maybe, silhouttes?
I guess you have to think for yourself about what you think is "Dark" when you enter the contest..
Something moody.. something scary? something wintery?
i think everyone will have his own interpretation of the subject.
no landscapes please.

Nice to see Paul has come out from behind his Mobile, your image is not bad at all Paul, however, a Landscape competition would necessitate banning you and Ruud to give the rest of us half a chance!
