Urgent help needed for shooting in poor conditions :)
Hi Fotocommunity members,
I need to shoot at an indoors event this afternoon (so this is pretty urgent :) ) where in all likelihood the light will be rather terrible, i.e. hard, neon lights. I need to shoot portraits / groups of people.
What is my best option? I am thinking:
- Auto to get decent-ish photos and not take any risks... But I wouldn't be very proud of resorting to that :)
- Shoot in aperture priority mode with as wide an aperture as possible to get some depth of field, and maybe manually lower the lighting to - 0.3 or so
- Go fully manual with wide aperture, high speed, low ISOs - but I won't have much time to test the settings and I am not shooting with my own camera, so may be risky
Any thoughts would be HUGELY appreciated!!! many thanks :)

If you have a flash bounce it off the ceiling if possible.
Test all 3 of the above options and go with the best result. If it turns out to be the "Auto" mode you don't have to tell anyone, just get the results and image you want. ( or try and duplicate the settings manually )
Good luck !
