Software to organise pictures
Hello there
I have heaps of pictures and wanted to know if anyone knows a good software with which I can organise them. I should be able to add keywords to the pictures and to search my archive through with help of keywords like "Japan", "People" or "landscape". Any suggestions?

Hi,
I use Adobe Lightroom for years and in my view this is an excellent program for picture management. Currently adobe is working on Lightroom 4, which can be tested in BETA : http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lightroom4/
kind regards

Adobe Lightroom, have over 20,000 images on my Terri-byte drives. I create a folder say for Grand Canyon, then each time we go there, link the Nikon to the computer with LR loaded. And to the drive with Grand Canyon folder, then it copies all pics from the card, to a sub-folder with the date.
Have a folder "Family", with subfolders for each of my childrens names. Then subfolder for their children, and another my great grandchildren.

My tool of choice is XnViewMP, I've tried many programs but none has outperformed this freeware. Make sure to get the MP (multi platform) version, not the classical one.
