The Heart of The Beast 7-12

All that stands is the heart of the beast. The engine that drove this tanker will be dismantled and stored in a warehouse for usable parts. The welders in the foreground will get there to perform heart surgery on the massive engine.

I can almost taste the pollution that these brave men have to endure daily.

Woah! What a killer. It looks almost surrealistic. Like an "Alien" or postapocalyptic Film set. I'm really blown away.

And how the heck did you get this DOF at 85mm/f5 ???

    Very interesting series Glenn.
These guys are using oxy-propane cutters ... welders join pieces of metal together. The hard metal isn't the dangerous stuff ... it's all the asbestos, chemicals and fumes that'll slowly kill these guys.

    all the best
    Andy
