These old catacombs of Diocletians palast I visited in 1990 during a business trip. Somewhere a radio plays "Woman in chains" from Tears for Fears...Up to now I never had a chance to come back to this amazing place - but I will...

yes...at every touristic site...there is a commercial part and souvenirs can be bought...fine textures here of the walls Adele...good depth..

All this junk should be thrown out, it really spoils the mood and the "soul" of these ancient building....Quite frankly, even if I don't like flash-photos at all, generally, I clearly prefer the attached photo taken with a flash.

Auf die Souvenirs kann die Welt locker verzichten, aber auf diese wunderschönen alten Gemäuer nicht. Es ist gut, dass sie erhalten werden und wenn es nur ist, diesen Krimskrams unter die Menschheit zu bringen!Sehr schön.
