Inside the narrow yard of the Banjar temple in Sembung a pedanda priest makes his communication to the holy gods who are watching from above into the open temple complex.
Village temples are peaceful and desolate. They transform into scenes of great activity during festivals such as the priest makes his praying to contact good demons and gods.
