Keep Your Eyes Open......
......because it is not only wildflowers and baby critters that come out in the Spring, this six foot water moccasin, also known as a "cotton-mouth", has been on a feeding frenzy by the looks of her, and they are one of the few vipers that will actually chase you down if you disturb their den or they have young ones with them, I gave her plenty of room and used the full scope of me telephoto capabilities for this shot ... :-))

These are about as dangerous as you can get! Good shot and I am glad you stayed a ways away. He does look well fed and probably would not have eaten you if he would have bitten you. Good one!Regards,

OMG......not my idea of a nice critter to find in the garden. Give me the frog that H found in ours any day.....I am so pleased to know that you were using your telephoto lens...and at full stretch :)))
