at the International Buddhist Society in Richmond, just south of Vancouver -a very peaceful and beautiful place to visit - and I will show you a few images ....
another sneak peak into a hall with several buddha statues ... interior photography was actually not allowed, so my picture taking had to be fast.

even though i have to admit that once again i am totally in the dark about the symbolism connected to those sacred pillars of golden "plates", i find them very impressive, and they make a great worthy frame for your secret glimpse of the deities inside the prayer hall! an eye-opening series hugs, sabine. p.s.: another confession: when i first spotted the preview, i thought you had moved on to another, more rural subject and mistook the pillars for ears of ripe corn… ; )Agapy 21/05/2015 7:21
