what strikes me most is how he's clinging to the bars of his enclosure like a prison inmate would to the bars of his cell… and his bulging forehead suggesting braininess, the delicate nails on his large, powerful, yet shockingly human-like hands: all very moving! greetings, sabine.

Hunted in their own country... and kept captive elsewere. A very sad indictment of the human race..... that we either hunt them or hold them catpive.
