You are right Sue! This is Newark castle eventually! I ckecked it and I found the right photo for Warrick castle near Coventry. Thanks very much for your correction and once more Sorry!

This is Newark Castle Alexander.....I checked it out on Google Earth, and anyway I recognise it as we have been there several times.
The two Castles are very different as can be seen in these links :))
This shot was taken from the bridge that crosses the River Trent, looking across at the only wall that is still standing. A superb shot and strong with the b/w treatment.
a castle that fairytales are made off juxtaposed with the fishermen of today ... well composed, very effective in black and white, and such a dramatic mood !!
