as a child of the 70s, i can't help but immediately imagine an james herriot, the vet of the tv series "all creatures great and small", returning to his wife and practice after a tiring day out on farm calls. ; ) a beautiful capture of the characteristic yorkshire landscape – so raw and so lovely looking at the same time! love, how the ancient wall is following the road into the depth of the image! greetings, sabine.

Looking at this open vista I think perhaps you were traving over the North Yorkshire moors.....a beautiful area that, in the winter, can be wild and desolate.
An excellent scene.

the eyes get taken into the far away distance on this never-ending road ... such a wide country under a big sky, the little homestead peaceful and idyllic !!!
