Being at the Washington Monument I could take this picture of a lightning with the Monument in the right side of the image where the lightning is definitely the main subject of the picture.

Great picture! great luck actually!!! perfect time and about the align... you could use photoshop but!! i think that is a steep picture because the lightning moved and gave vibrations to everything who was around ;)
