The Fungi World (239) : Larch Bolete

The Larch Bolete (also known as Greville’s Bolete or Bovine Bolete) is a fungus that grows in the soil of mixed forests, but always at the foot of a larch with which it lives in symbiosis.

It has an odor reminiscent of rumpled Pelargonium (geranium) leaves.
Can be found from june until november.
