Leonid Khodyrev quotes Mark Twain by asking," Why is it that we rejoice at a birth and grieve at a funeral? It is because we are not the person involved". I tend to agree, but I know somehow seeing this brings us all a little closer to finishing one's life span.

Religion tends to undermine as insignificant present life and talks to you about a future and eternal one that you ought to be always prepared for...According to that, things should have been the other way around. Lamenting at birth and rejoicing in dying...It is the strength of either your spirit or instict that will make you choose....
