I just got my new DSLR and am feeling my way around with it. These are my first pictures with it & Id like some honest opinins/feedback on either of them.
Im a nail artist, I enjoy using themes & creating nails & make up to go with it. I now want to learn to shoot my creations too. I have no lighting as yet. I use PS 6 for lightening/sharpening etc. Though I seem to have lost the sharpness in the eyes on resizing.
Id like your feedback please..Im a big girl, so I can take it, lol!
My aim is for aristic style (portraits?) with nails that stand out in the picture, not take over the image, but stand out.
Any advice here would be most gratefully appreciated.

I posted a critique on Glo's lovely picture, and then thought, well if we give Glo our thoughts we ought to demonstrate what we mean. So here is my version of Glo's lovely Pic. Critiques welcome. I know it can be improved, just 30 mins spent on this.
