Tragic Angel
This was taken in Buenos Aires at La Recoleta Cemetery. It was truly somber experience to shoot among mausoleums. Never before have statues of angel appear so sad to me.
Please critique liberally, I'm particularly interested in opinions on composition.

I particularly like the way the light falls across the statue. The composition is good but I do find that my eye is drawn to the background as much as to the statue. If it were mine, I'd try blurring the background a little, or perhaps a lot. The sky is a beautiful shade of blue, but I think that this detracts from the stautue too. I wonder how it would look if the background and sky were darkened a little?
