You can stroll freely in the stone streets of the ghost village of Vathia hearing only the noise of your steps. You can open doors and climb up to terraces scaring off the birds... Life is at the standstill. For centuries ago rich captains were mainly the tenants...Present descendants abandon the ownership not affording repairs and not expecting any aid from the government....Many of those are bought by foreigners.
