About me
Kukó, born in 1874, after finishing compulsory school and after a stint in the
world of work, moves to Milan to study as a graphic designer at the Istituto Salesiano.
He then enrols in a private art academy and finally realizes a big dream of his by obtaining the official “Master of Art Diploma” at the Istituto Statale d’Arte (State Art Institute) of Imperia.
He perfects his training by frequenting photography courses offered by Canon and by other private institutes specializing in still-life, but particularly
in naturalistic and journalistic reportage. In the professional domain he starts a collaboration as graphic designer and layout artist for Mondadori, the biggest publishing house in Europe, until he inaugurates his own graphic studio/web agency. This great professional experience continues for five years and during this period Fabrizio is also absorbed by the world of art and photography.
As a sports freelance photographer he gets published on prestigious national publications such as “Tuttorally”, “Budo”, “La Gazzetta della Cinofilia” (magazines) and “Il Secolo XIX” and “La Stampa” (dailies). He is also present online with a series of sports articles and photos supporting the regional proposals for the promotion of tourism.
Why “Kukó”? The way he used to pronounce his surname when a child
has become his ‘nom d’art’, the visiting card of his creative potential, and it’s as Kukó that Fabrizio enters the art world.
