Just minutes after taking this picture a severe thunderstorm rolled over the country with torrential downpouring, heavy thunder and lightning. We had power outage for some hours.
The next morning neighbors came over, asking, wether we are in need of anything.
The downside: the roads were blocked for days. Either they were flooded or they were just .... gone!
The day after we couldn´t go anywhere but some steps for a walk out of our cabin.
Later on we learned, that we have been in the center of the worst. 8 Counties declared the state of emergency.

Sagenhaftes Bild. Beeindruckend, dass du noch die Zeit gefunden hast zu fotografieren. Ich glaube ich wäre ganz schnell verschwunden. Auf jeden Fall tolles Bild.Gruss, jost

That would have been some experience Mathias, and to then find thatyou had been at the centre of such dreadful weather........ Thank goodness you were safe and able to get out for walks.A good shot of the gathering storm clouds.
