Never underestimate a holiday brake in an island during winter. Maybe the beach is not so pleasurable for a sun tan or the sea welcoming for a plunge but, definitely, is the right place for one to admire the elements of nature exploding with a ferocious fury, especially a "boiling" Aegean sea to give ample proof why Greek seamen consider it among the most menacing seas they ever came across with... And also a unique chance to enjoy lovely walks in deserted and empty of turists coasts.

A lovely wintery scene with all the breaking waves and those distant mountains, but I still prefer your other shot.However, they are both excellnet.

wild and untamed, full of "white horses" ... beautiful to look at, but indeed not the place to be with a smallboat - a fine image, great depth, and black and white
add so much drama !!!
